Originally from Winnipeg, CAR287 emerged in 2014 with a strong attachment to the great rock icons. Integrating influences ranging from The Tragically Hip to The Killers, the band has evolved to address contemporary social themes and relationships in their lyrics. With the addition of drummer Ryan Olenick in 2023, their live energy has strengthened noticeably. They've been on the road for over ten years, since CAR287 emerged from the Winnipeg music scene in 2014, when four musicians came together in a basement, driven by their admiration for rock legends: Jay Yarmey (vocals/acoustic), Travis Wog (guitar/vocals) and Terry Ferguson (bass) and, later, drummer Ryan Olenick.

Now, with their newest single, they demonstrate just how much they've encompassed during this period, with a comprehensive body of work.
